01 Night in Karatu

Tarangire National Park

Driving off grid from towns and villages, and meet the great Serengeti plain, Enjoy the rest of the day game drive, and the following day early morning game drives, exploring the Serengeti, a place of unusual beauty whose vast endless plains are home to more than three million large mammals.

At certain times of the year, you may witness the incredible spectacle of the 1,25 million wildebeest that trek in columns of up to 40km long in search of good grazing. Of course, the wildebeest mega herds attract opportunistic predators of every kind as well as other species that like to accompany them, such as zebra, Thomson’s gazelle, impala and other antelope.

01 Nights in Central Serengeti

Serengeti National Park

Breakfast at the lodge. Head out on a Serengeti safari today to discover the natural abundance of this iconic national park. The Serengeti National Park is filled with spectacular landscapes such as vast savannahs, immense plains as well as forested regions and dense bushland. Discover a number of watering holes where the park’s herbivores can be found refreshing themselves, often followed by predators and bird species. Stop for a picnic lunch and search for herds of elephants or elusive lions, leopards and hyenas as you enjoy a truly magical safari experience. Return to the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay in the Serengeti.

01 Night at Karatu

Crossing Ngorongoro to Karatu.

Breakfast at the lodge. Today, head back towards Karatu, enjoying a safari through the plains of the Serengeti along the way and exploring the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Spot wildlife as you travel south and take in the epic landscapes of this abundant region of Tanzania. Stop for a picnic lunch before continuing your trip to Karatu. Arrive in Karatu in the afternoon and perhaps enjoy an optional visit to a local Maasai village or to the interesting Olduvai Museum. Dinner and overnight stay in Karatu.

Ngorongoro Crater tour - Transfer to Airport.

One of the World’s natural wonders, the volcanic caldera of Ngorongoro offers truly remarkable game viewing on its crater floor. You’re almost definite to see four of the Big Five, a plethora of birds and many other animals against the unique backdrop of the green, forest-like crater walls.

Lunch will be a picnic in the crater along the Hippo pool, in this almost weird microcosm of forest, grasslands, freshwater and soda lakes and we’ll drive to the Airport to catch your flight in time.
